BUHARI CHAIRS HIS FIRST MEETING 


Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari chaired his first cabinet meeting on Wednesday since coming back from medical leave last week.
Buhari has had no public appearances outside the presidential villa since coming back on Friday from London where he had been treated for seven weeks for an undisclosed illness.

Buhari called for two ministers for Christian and Muslim prayers before the national anthem was played at the start of the closed-door meeting, the usual practice before reporters were asked to leave the room.

Grammys 2018 Winners: The Complete List The 60th Annual Grammy Award , hosted by James Corden  on Sunday, was huge for Bruno Mars. He won three out of the four major categories for "24K Magic" and "That's How I Like It," and took home six Grammy's in all. Kendrick Lamar followed as the night's second biggest winner, claiming five  Grammy's While J-zay  entered Sunday as the top nominee, it was Bruno Mars  and Kendrick Lamar  who left the night's biggest winners. But with 80-plus awards to hand out, there were plenty of victors. Nigeria: Four female suicide bombers kill 2, injure 16 in Maiduguri Four teenage girls have struck Nigeria’s northeastern town of Maiduguri in the Borno State Wednesday morning killing two people in a residential area. 16 people were injured in the bomb attack and are receiving treatment, according to the National Emergency Management Agency ( NEMA ). “Rescue and health workers had immediately moved to scene after the alert. The victims have been transported to the state specialist hospital and university teaching hospital in Maiduguri,” spokesperson of NEMA in the area, Abdulkadir Ibrahim confirmed to local media.
